international visual arts magazine that celebrates and
demystifies our relationship with art.

Adventures in art that inspire and entertain. Filming with world class artists, collectors and industry insiders to tell stories about art in all its aspects - the many ways it enters our lives and reflects who we are as people, how it gets made, its history and the industry surrounding it. We will delve deep into the passions, personalities, creativity and drama surrounding art and explore life at its most intense and vivid.

George Carey

Executive Producer

GEORGE CAREY is an established film-maker and television journalist. As co-founder of Barraclough Carey Productions and Creative Director of Mentorn, he has a string of award-winning programmes to his name. Before that he worked at the BBC where he was the creator of Newsnight, Editor of Panorama and most recently Executive Producer of BBC’s, The Art of China. His most recent films (which he has shot and directed himself) include Masterspy of Moscow and The Spy Who Went into the Cold for BBC Storyville; and A Long Weekend with the Son of God for C4.

Emily Kennedy

Series Editor

Emily has a wide-ranging background with experience in supervising studio shows, live events, documentaries and magazine shows. Best known for her work for The Culture Show, Jamie’s Comfort Food and Jamie’s Money Saving Meals she has nearly 20 years of experience under her belt. Series Producer Emma Cahusac and Emily Kennedy, both worked together for nearly 5 years on BBC’s The Culture Show between them they have produced high quality, highly successful factual entertainment, they have worked with such names as Anish Kapoor, Woody Allen, Grayson Perry, David Hockney and Damon Albarn to name but a few.

Series Developer

EMMA CAHUSAC’s television career has spanned almost 20 years, incorporating 5 years as Series Producer of The Culture Show for the BBC and 2 years as Editor for Arts Commissioning at Channel Four Television. One of Britain’s leading arts producers she has created single films, series and live programming for the UK and the US with such names as Hanif Kureshi, Anish Kapoor, Woody Allen, Sarah Silverman, Alexa Chung, Damon Albarn, Thomas Heatherwick, Ryan Gander, Grayson Perry, Yoko Ono to name but a few. Emma has also worked with the BBC Digital to launch their interactive arts content.

Mike Christie

Series Director

MIKE CHRISTIE is best known for his unique films within arts and sport. His spectacular 2003 Channel 4 film Jump London was finalist for RTS Best Arts Programme award, as well as a massive international hit. Mike was one of the directors of Channel 4’s BAFTA and RTS award-winning Big Art. His 2011 Channel 4 feature-length documentary Concrete Circus spawned a set of virals collectively viewed 15 million times. He series directed The Art Of China (Andrew Graham-Dixon’s long-running BAFTA nominated strand) and the acclaimed architecture series From Here To Modernity for the BBC. He has also produced films for Apple, London 2012 Ceremonies and Red Bull, including Danny MacAskill’s Imaginate, which has had 40 million views.

Rachel Naughton

Production Chief

Production chief RACHEL NAUGHTON is a line producer who has successfully managed many extremely challenging productions for major production companies and networks, and has worked together with Christie for the last five years. Her most recent work, as head of production at Amos Pictures, garnered an array of awards and nominations: The Paedophile Hunter for Channel 4 won the BAFTA Best Documentary 2015 and the RTS Best Documentary Award. Terror At The Mall, for HBO and BBC, was BAFTA and EMMY nominated.
